Masonic graveside services for Charlie B. Adams, age 83, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 3:30 pm Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Bullard Cemetery with Randy Spears officiating.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Adams passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Tyler.
He was born August 16, 1926 in Cherokee County, TX to Charlie Burton Adams and Thelma Middleton Adams.
Mr. Adams was a former member of Travis Street Baptist Church, served in the U. S. Army during World War II, was a member of Jacksonville Masonic Lodge #108, retired Cherokee County Road Foreman Operator and stone cutter at Gould Monument Works in Jacksonville.
Survivors include son David Adams and wife Lexa of Troup; daughter Debbie Hunt and husband Tommy of Troup; grandson Cole Adams and wife Grace of Troup; grandsons Cooper and Walker Adams of Troup; cousin Bill Lang of Jacksonville; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins; special friends Larry Higgins and Edna Ritchey.
There will be no visitation.
